My dog has Kennel cough.?

Last week we adopted a 4 year old Jack Russell from the kennels.
I know he has now got Kennel cough as one of our others had it some years ago. My 6 year old labrador is now also showing symptoms.

Our vets cannot see them until Tuesday morning ( was hoping for an appointment today).

Do you know of anything that i can give them to ease the irritation?

The vet receptionist said they didn't know of anything.
