Some people have no trouble healing their wounds. And for others they just don’t seem to want to heal at all. Why do some people have so much trouble?

Healing wounds, like healing any malady, comes down to how healthy you are. You may think you are very healthy, but if your can’t seem to heal a wound quickly, or shake off a cold or get headaches, then your immune system is really struggling. And that is the measure of how healthy you are. How quickly your body can cure you from anything, with minimum or no help.

Generally speaking, normal wound treatment does nothing to improve your immune system. And it may make it worse. If you use homeopathic medicines which match your acute symptoms, then this will give your immune system the much needed support. Then you body will be able to take over and cure itself.

The best homeopathic medicine for a wound, is called Calendula. This remarkable medicine is so effective at stimulating your immunity that the pain is switched off, preventing infection and the healing is rapid. One characteristic symptom of Calendula is that the wound feels very cold and you want to cover it up. Mostly wounds are covered up, but you suffer when the dressing is changed.

Taking Calendula internally in potency, as required for the pain or the healing will do more for you than topical treatment. But if the wound is large, then topical treatment may help. The one I like best because of its efficacy is called Hypercal. This is a solution of the mixture of Calendula and Hypericum herbal tinctures.

Drench the dressing with this. Then keep that dressing, until the wound no longer needs to be covered. Just moisten it with the solution, when it seems to dry out.
