What are some good food or vitamins i can give my dog for his high Liver enzymes.?

We took my dog to the vet and hed had 3 blood test in the past 3 months and his enzymes keep rising. The vet put him on a Special dog food and on some medications also we went to the pet store to buy this stuff called nutri vet healthy liver. We really cant afford to keep going to the vet all time. We do love him but it is getting very expensive. He is healthy otherwise he eats. And still get around pretty good.
